“The Secure Purse” is a unique product designed to prevent the chance of purse loss or theft.
This innovative security device will give the purse owner peace of mind that their property is protected while:
- Shopping at the grocery store or mall
- Attending social gatherings and functions (parties, conventions, seminars, etc.)
- Traveling for business or the holidays
- Commuting to and from work on subways, trains, or buses
- At school or the gym
- Dinning out or whenever the risk of loss or theft may be increased
“The Secure Purse’s” pressure sensitive feet and base assembly are manufactured to fit any purse shape, size and style. The included hand-held remote is used to activate and deactivate “The Secure Purse’s” alarm and can be clipped onto a key ring or belt loop. For more elegant occasions, the charm bracelet with remote activator may also be used to activate “The Secure Purse.”
“The Secure Purse” also features several panic alarm activation features, both on the purse itself as well as on the hand-held remote so that the user may trigger a panic alarm any time they feel themselves threatened or in danger. Likewise, “The Secure Purse” features a voice activation that works to activate the alarm at anytime without buttons or remotes.
“The Secure Purse” includes a spring-loaded carry strap alarm activator, stitched into the fabric of the purse and connected to the carry strap. This mechanism is useful in detecting when the purse is being pulled away during a purse snatching incident and will trigger the alarm system.
As an additional convenience and enhancement to “The Secure Purse,” the purse can be locked and unlocked (with internal magnetic contacts) by using the thumb print scanner. This makes it virtually impossible for anyone to access the contents of “The Secure Purse” other than the owner.

Furthermore, according to the Saint Xavier University Study of Identity Theft Incidents one in six cases of identity theft resulted in the victim’s identity being stolen by means of a purse snatching.

“The Secure Purse” utilizes pressure sensitive rubber feet and a pressure sensitive base which detects the slightest movement of the object. This way the owner is not only alerted when a theft is attempted, but also when it is being tampered with by someone.
There are several ways to activate the alarm:
- The owner simply presses the activator button on either the hand-held alarm remote or the charm bracelet alarm remote.
- The owner presses the panic button either on the hand-held remote or on the face of the purse (near the thumb-print scanner).
- By voice command through the voice activation speaker located on both sides of the purse.
When the alarm is activated, if the purse is moved or snatched away, the alarm goes off and the external light turns on. The alarm and light will stay activated until the owner deactivates it with the remote.
The sharp and loud pitch of “The Secure Purse’s” alarm offers a clear indication to bystander that a theft was attempted and will certainly scare away the would-be thief. Aside from the standard alarm ringing, “The Secure Purse” may also be set to activate a voice alarm based on the specific areas that may be effected. For instance, if the purse is stolen from a grocery basket or from under a table, the voice alarm would trigger the “Stolen Purse!” voice alarm. If someone attempts to open the purse while locked, the “Tamper Alert!” voice alarm is activated. If a thief is trying to pull the purse off of the owner’s arm, the “Purse Snatcher!” alarm is triggered.
